The checklist of European lichens, lichen resembling and lichenicolous fungi is automatically generated by merging the data of 43 European countries and a list of the European part of Russia and Turkey. The 1 August 2010 it comprised 7605 species, lacking the lists of Belgium, Greece, Italy, Switzerland and the European parts of Russia and Turkey. There is no list of the European part of Turkey but no additional speces are expected to grow there.
