Note: The authorities of this species are also cited as "Catillaria minuta (Schaer.) Lettau" (Calvelo & Liberatore 2002: 42, Scholz 1991: 103) but they are contradicted by Kilias (1981: 390): "Catillaria minuta (A. Massal.) Lettau ... non Lecidea anomala var. minuta Schaer." whom we follow here.
