Dermatocarpon miniatum (L.) W. Mann

Description: Lichen. Thallus foliose, 2-6 cm broad, plane, thick, often convoluted and crowded, pale brown to whitish-grey, not distinctly lobate, forming one large umbilicate sheet; upper surface slightly wrinkled, holdfast present at center; medulla thick, white. Perithecia abundant, seen as brown to black dots (Park 1990: 108).
