Thallus: umbilicate, upper side medium-brown, at most slightly pruinose around teh umbo. Isidiate, isidia dark brown, granular, semiglobular, or shortly cylindrical, usually starting on pustules, at a later stage possibly becoming eroded and perforated (Krog 1987: 211).
