Note: Beside the type there are only two additional samples: France, Dep. Hautes-Pyrénées, near Sainte-Marie-de-Campan, ca. 900 m, 1951, A. de Puymaly (whereabouts unknown) and Germany, Bavaria, Munich, Alter Südlicher Friedhof, auf dem Grabstein von xxx, Tuff, T. Feuerer (HBG). Possibly the species occurs also in California (M. Schultz, pers. comm.).
