Type: France, "in rupibus alpinis Galliae", leg. Dufour. Department and even region unclear. Material not located, not found in Uppsala, Sweden (UPS) by Schneider (1979: 64).

Chemistry: Erythrin (Galun 1970), Fragilin, 7-chloroemodin, 1-O-methylfragilin [as "2-chloro-1-hydroxy-3.8-dimethoxy-6-methylanthrachinon"], 1,6,8-trihydroxy-3-methyl-7-chloro-9-anthrone [as "2-choro-1.2.3.-trihydroxy-6-methyl-10-anthron"] (Steiner et al. 1974), rhizocarpic acid (Schneider 1979: 64).
