Type: Yemen, Governorate Al Mahra, western extension of the Dhofar Mts., near Hawf close to the Omani border, close to Jabal Quatam Jehzir, open forest vegetation with mostly Anogeissus dhofarica and Maytenus dhofarensis, on W-exposed, vertical, shaded limestone boulder, ca. 750 m alt., 14.10.2001, M. Schultz 14126a (HBG - holotype; B, herb. M. Schultz - isotypes).
