Thallus: fruticose, 5 cm high, loosely tufted, intricately branched. Branches pale stramineous, terete, hollow, perforated, 0.1. - 0.5 mm wide. Soredia absent. Apothecia apical or lateral. Spores 10 - 16 /4 - 6 µm, straight or somewhat curved (Swinscow & Krog 1988: 285).

Chemistry: Substances in the Sekikaic acid agg. (Swinscow & Krog 1988: 285).

Ecology: Corticolous on branches of trees in elfin forest at 2400 m altitude.
