Type locality: Germany, Sachsen-Anhalt, Halle, Kröllwitz [a Stadtteil in the Stadtbezirk West], ca. 100 m, Wallroth (L 0833383 - isotype).

Description: Lichen. Thallus crustose, see Smith et al. (2009). Data lacking.

Photobiont: Data lacking.

Chemistry: No lichen substances.

Ecology: On compacted soil, in Macaronesia and S Europe at higher elevations, in the rest of Europe at lowland to mid elevations.

Distribution type: Macaronesia and Europe.
