1. Poelt, Josef: - German lichenologist. Participated in July 1991 as a guest in an excursion, lead by Dr. G. Miehe, Göttingen, to the pakistanian Karakorum. A sample from the Karakorum collected in 1991 is mentioned in Hafellner (1999: 514), another sample forms the type of Caloplaca juniperi Poelt & Hinteregger. Gypsoplaca macrophylla is mentioned in Poelt & Gärtner (1992). Material in Graz, Austria (GZU).

2. Lobbichler, F.: - The material of F. Lobbichler and Dr. J. Schneider collected during the German Karakorum-Expedition 1959 forms the basis of the treatment by Poelt (1961).
