2. Handel-Mazzetti, Heinrich, Freiherr von: Austrian botanist. His collections from Mesopotamia, Kurdistan, Syria and Prinkipo were initially studied by Julius Steiner and the results posthumously published after revision by Alexander Zahlbruckner. Later studies on Buellia epigaea complex by J. Poelt and M. Sulzer. Collection kept at W and WU.
