  2. Abu-Zinada, A. H.: collected lichens in Saudi Arabia in the 1970ies; collaboration with D. L. Hawksworth. Collections kept at the Dept. of Botany of King Saud Univ., Ryadh, Saudi Arabia.

  3. Bokhary, H. A.: collected lichens from high altitude areas in northern and northwestern Saudi Arabia. Collections kept at the Dept. of Botany of King Saud Univ., Ryadh, Saudi Arabia.

  4. Frey, W.: German Botanist. Reported some epiphytic lichens from SW Saudi Arabia published in 1989.

  5. Hawksworth, D. L.: British mycologist and lichenologist. Made extensive collections while being a Visiting Professor at the University of Riyadh in 1978; additional smaller collections were made available to him for identification.

  6. Kürschner, H.: German bryologist and plant ecologist. Collected epiphytic lichens in the Asir Mountains in SW Saudi Arabia in the early 1980s.

  7. Mandaville, J. P.: British botanist. Collected lichens in the Asir Mountains in the early 1970ies.

  8. Seaward, M. R. D.: British lichenologist. Collected Saudi Arabian lichens in 1992.
