Collectors of lichens of Egypt Preliminary version 1 January 2017

 

1. Delile, A. R.: - Collected the type of Caloplaca circumalbata. Material housed in in Genf, Switzerland (G).

2. Kotschy, : - The Austrian botanist collected the type of Parmelia magara, a synonym of Seirophora villosa in "El Arysch" in the northern Sinai. The material is housed in Vienna, Austria (W).

3. Schweinfurth, G.: - Collected the type of Caloplaca aegyptiacum Müll. Arg. in 1877. Material housed in Genf, Switzerland (G). A sample of Ramalina maciformis in HBG.

4. Sickenberger, : - A sample of Ramalina maciformis is housed in HBG. This species was described from Egypt by Delile (1813).
